I was trying to get a picture of the flowerhead on this weed when this little bug came in for a landing. As they say, timing is everything!

I think it looks like squashed cauliflower! Ewww! I still like it though. But the flowerhead?! It is a new favorite of mine I think. I love that you've captured the blur of the wings and the details of your "bug". It almost surpasses the disheveled little flower. FANTASTIC! Thanks for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteSquashed cauliflower? How can you possibly think that....Oh wait, it does, doesn't it. The little bug was pure luck. I was trying to get the flower head when it just flew in. He is definately better than the flower!
