Over the Christmas holidays we visited my wife’s parents up in Rogers City, Michigan. I took a little walk through Herman Vogler Nature Area one morning, and snapped a few pictures. The day was sunny, not too cold, and overall beautiful. Here are a few shots from my hike…
Water flows over the old dam.
A birch tree reflects in the small bit of open water.
Here is a “self Portrait”, done in shadow. Did I mention it was early morning?
A lonely stump.
There were lots of signs of wildlife, including these cute little tracks in the snow.
The Trout River flows off toward Lake Huron.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the pics.
These are great! Winter can be so dreary and grey but you've done an excellent job of capturing the elegance and rush of life under that blanket of snow. Kudos to you my friend.
ReplyDeleteAnd I didn't realize you were so tall. Is it hard to buy pants that long??
Thank you my friend. I am glad you enjoy them. As for the pants, I shop at Aberclownby and Stilt.
