Scenes from Detroit

It has been way too long since I have posted anything.  I recently took on the task of being the photographer for Bay City Central High School bands, and that has taken up all of my photo time.  But this week finds me in Detroit at a training class, so I decided to take a bit of my evening and walk by the river and see what I could see.  Here are few shots of what was around me.

The atrium at the Ren Cen, next to the river.

What would Detroit be without General Motors and shiny new cars in the lobby.

Thanks for visiting.  I will try to get a few more up this week, if my schedule allows.

  1. I hope you have a good time while in the Motor City. It looks like it could be nice. Thanks for getting these up. I love your posh accomodations; you bigwig. We've missed you!

  2. Nice pics! I am glad you are staying at the Ren Cen. My least favorite liar is in Detroit for a convention but staying at the Greektown Casino & Hotel. I would hate for you to get some of that BS on you...

  3. Thanks Tess, it is a nice place, except I keep getting lost in it. The pictures were fun, but with it getting dark so early now I did not have time for more.

  4. I am avoiding Greektown this time Ann, so no fears. I have enough trouble here, with me class and getting lost trying to find a restaurant. I am glad you liked the pics, thanks for visiting.
