Took a walk down by the river tonight, to see what I could see. Lots of birds, a few flowers, and some nice young folks.
Catkins in a tree…
Violets by the trail…
And folks enjoying a beautiful evening.

Here are a couple of shots I got while driving down a country road a couple days ago. Well, ok, I stopped to take the pictures, but you know what I mean.
A couple of deer hiding out in the brush just off the road.
This sandhill crane was far out in a field. I wish I could have gotten a closer shot.
A common grackle alongside a marsh.
Thanks for visiting. Life has been so busy I have not had time to get out for some real photography. I hope to get out sometime soon.
Here are a few shots of some birds from a recent outing. Enjoy!!
“Who are you looking at?”
A couple shots of goldfinches
Either a Hairy or a Downy Woodpecker, it was too far away to tell.
I had a very successful safari today. I found and photographed a number of birds, but perhaps my favorites of the day were the Great Egret. I first spotted a few in a field, then watched as one flew up to preen himself in a tree.
Thanks for visiting. I have some more shots from the trip today, but I will save those for the next post. Come back soon and check them out!
I wanted to post some picture I took of some wild turkeys and some ducks recently, but they did not turn out too good. So instead I decided to fall back on the good ole standby, cute pictures of my dog.
You may not realize it to look at her, but Shelby is a great watchdog.
“Awwww mom! I don’t want a trim!”
Even doggies dream of playing football.
“And Shelby is on the 10, the 5, TOUCHDOWN”
All that guard duty, grooming, and football is hard work. Time for a nap!
